Portable chicken coops work out great if you have a small flock of chickens. It doesn’t take many if you want the benefits of having a fresh batch of eggs in the morning to start your day. And nothing test better than fresh cooked eggs!
Portable chicken coops are quite convenient. They can be moved around the yard easily. You can even park them in your garage at night if you have predators in your area.
They also make it easy for you to clean up after your chickens. You can simply move the coop to another area of the yard to clean up or mow down the growing grass. Not to mention cleaning the coop itself is easier due to its small size.
Portable chicken coops do have their limitations. If you plan on growing your flock then it might be wise to consider a more permanent structure. But in the meantime…just to get started the portable chicken coops are nice to have.
