When you own a chicken coop, does it have to be moved around continuously onto fresh ground, or can it just stay where it's put all year round?
I only have a small garden so I was wondering how fast the regeneration of the grass was going to be before the coop rotated back to that spot.

If you have a small piece of property, a small number of chickens and a small coop, moving it around would probably be good. How long for the grass to regrow would depend on how long you leave the coop in one spot. Less time in one spot, less time to regrow.

If you have room to let your birds out every day then that is the best option. They get more variety in their diet and they get to run around, literally run.
