Also you should try and go out with some more friends, male friends if possible, as a way to keep your confidence up. You may even want to go to places your ex husband frequents.

Lastly when it all comes down to it, if you're not able to attract your ex-husband back to you on his own, then you're going to have to go to him and state your case openly and honestly.

Now's the time to be completely honest in order to get your ex husband back and admit that while there may have been some mistakes in your marriage, that you are willing to work on them. While this might not be the best advice for all, if you really want to lay it all on the line, so to speak, you have to really make yourself vulnerable to him in hopes that he wants to restart the relationship.

Chicken mites! :@?

My chickens have mites all over, and the mites seem to be making this weird white hard clumps on the feathers by their vent. I cannot get the white stuff off without pulling their feathers out completly. Also how do i get the mites out for good!? I dust the coop and chickens, but they keep coming back! Please help me!

Mites and what to do?

Dusting is a great thing to do but it isn’t enough. Especially if you are just dusting without poultry mite dust powder. There are many different kinds of powder so I suggest going to the local grain shop and see what you think will be best for your situation.

When cleaning the coop wash it with Permethrin. http://www.growinglifestyle.com/us/prod/B00061MSRQ.html - click on this and it will describe to you what permethrin does.

Then dust your birds with mite dust powder. Dusting the hens will be best if you hold the hen upside down. Try not to frighten her too much this will work better. Remember to dust her outside. This is so there isn’t dust powder in the air of the chicken coop. This is to prevent the hen from having to breath the dust.

If your birds have leg mites use some Bag Balm and smear it on or even butter. This will suffocate the mites. If it becomes necessary you may wish to smear some onto your chickens vent or other places where she is full of mites.

Then after dusting her go to the chicken coop and sprinkle some of the powder onto the floor. Then cover the floor of the coop with sawdust or straw.

Mites are stressful to birds so make sure that they are eating well and have a good diet. You can also give them one Tablespoon of sugar per gallon of water to give them a boost.
